Call for Undergraduate Papers: Journal of International Affairs

World Outlook welcomes submissions from all current and recently-graduated undergraduate students, regardless of institutional affiliation. Content from most academic disciplines is accepted, provided that papers are relevant to the field of international relations. Papers to be considered for publication must be available in digital format and should include citations and a works cited page consistent with the Chicago Manual of Style. Submissions must reflect original work and be written in English. Submissions should be between 12 and 25 pages in length, double-spaced in size 12 font. Longer submissions will be considered under exceptional circumstances.

Marcellus Policy Fellowship

Marcellus Policy Fellowship

The John Quincy Adams Society developed the Marcellus Policy Fellowship to help the next generation of US leaders develop the ideas and skills necessary to guide US foreign policy in the twenty-first century. Fellows hone their writing skills under expert guidance, crafting a detailed policy paper and a related policy memorandum and op-ed. The Fellowship is open to current undergraduates, as well as those with 0-2 years of employment in the foreign policy space (Internships do not count against the two-year limit). US citizenship is 
not required. Fellows receive a $750 stipend.

The Samuel Huntington Public Service Award provides $20,000 stipends for graduating college seniors to pursue one year of public service anywhere in the world. The award allows recipients to engage in a meaningful public service for one year before proceeding on to graduate school or a career.

The U.S. Department of State is accepting applications for the Foreign Affairs Information Technology (FAIT) Fellowship Program. The two-year need and merit–based fellowship program, administered in cooperation with The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars (TWC), is intended for talented and diverse students in an IT-related post-secondary degree program, including accredited online degree programs.
