Deadline: Monday, January 31, 2022
The Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) is hiring paid interns to support events and working groups that address a wide range of issues related to the US Intelligence Community, the Department of Defense, and the private contractors that support them. INSA is a non-profit association that promotes public-private collaboration on intelligence and national security challenges. INSA interns have gone on to positions in U.S. intelligence agencies, government contractors, think tanks, and other organizations working on defense, intelligence, national security, and homeland security issues.
INSA interns work 20-25 hours per week and are paid $13 per hour. Interns must be U.S. citizens enrolled in a graduate program related to intelligence, national security, homeland security, or international affairs. Candidates in technical graduate programs (cybersecurity, science & technology, etc.) with a demonstrated interest in national security issues will also be considered. Interns must commit to the program for a minimum of two semesters (Spring/Summer, Summer/Fall, Fall/Spring), though many interns work with INSA for a full 12 months.
Details on the internship and the application process are online at https://www.insaonline.org/about/internships/ .
