German Bundestag International Parliamentary Scholarship

The International Parliamentary Scholarship at the German Bundestag gives young professionals the opportunity to experience how the German Parliament works over the course of five months, with three of these spent working in a Member's office. The programme runs each year from 1 March to 31 July. The scholarship includes a monthly payment of 500 Euro, free accommodation, and health, accident and liability insurance. It also covers the cost of travel to and from Berlin. Must have a University degree, very good knowledge of the German language, and be under 30 years old at the start of the scholarship.
